The Tanzania Electric Supply Company Limited (TANESCO), founded in 1964, is a parastatal company in Tanzania. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Tanzanian government corporation.

Power lines installation, products, and maintenance
For further enhancing the total package of the available materials, overhead line fittings are able to offer insulators that are suitable for an extensive range of different applications.
The porcelain insulators have a range from low voltage provision to as high as 132kV systems. In addition to that, the company is also supplying the Metronet – London Underground with different types of porcelain insulators employed for supporting an electrified railing system. A complete range of the toughened cap for glass and insulators are also available for most of the applications. There is also availability for composite insulators when required.
